Painting Class

I decided to brush up on my painting skills and take a class in a studio in Railroad Square Art Park, Tallahassee, FL. The instructor is Ron Thomson who is an excellent teacher and the classes are reasonably priced. My first painting done in a somewhat new technique for me is entitled “Lemons and Toast”. It is from a photo I took while I was in my friend’s apartment in NYC. I have included the original reference photo, the critique and an in-progress shot. I hope to continue and make many more paintings in this style with different subject matters!
