LeMoyne First Friday August 2016

Joe Roache with his Painting

Last night I went to First Friday at LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts on 125 N. Gadsden Street in Tallahassee. In Tally, the first Friday of every month is dedicated to keeping the art galleries open from 6 to 9 p.m. and the curators usually have the opening reception for that month’s exhibits on that night. Shown above is one of the artists featured at LeMoyne’s Artists, Teachers and Friends exhibit named Joe Roache. He is pictured with his painting “Space and Time.” He is a very personable man and was enjoyable to talk with. I am also pictured below with another of his abstract paintings as well as another computer print with acrylic piece entitled “Adam and Eve in the Garden.”
